The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a First Impressions Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Student Ministries Team, to crafting a dynamic experience with the Worship Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group or partnering with our outreach and serving projects —we are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God. The mission of the Dream Team is to build the body of Christ by each person fulfilling their calling and serving to make an eternal difference.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS & HOSPITALITY

Cove Host Team

The Cove Host Team use the gift of hospitality to greet, host, and engage guests in the Cove before and after service.


Greeter Team

The Greeter Team creates a positive first impression by welcoming, greeting, and encouraging each guest as they enter and exit The River.


Parking Team

The Parking Team gives guests a positive first and last impression as they arrive and exit by providing clear direction for a safe and efficient parking experience.


River Cafe Team

The River Cafe Team provides a welcoming environment, greets guests, takes orders, and makes sure there is plenty of coffee to go around.


Welcome Desk Team

The Welcome Desk Team helps guests identify their next steps by providing resources and information about weekend services, Small Groups, Growth Track, kids and student ministries, and special events. They also collect information from first time guests and hand out gifts.


Usher Team

The Usher Team provides a positive worship experience by assisting guests with seating, facilitating tithes/offerings, and helping to secure a distraction-free worship environment


ADULTS & NEXT STEPS

Helps adults build community, find freedom, and take their next step with God with each other.



Adult Special Needs Team

The Adult Special Needs Team provides support so that our attendees with special needs can participate in our environments.


Growth Track Host Team

The Growth Track Host Team helps everyone attending the Growth Track find their place in the local church, discover their God-given purpose, and make a difference serving on the Dream Team.


Life Groups Team

The Life Groups Team leads weekly Small Groups for people to experience authentic community, find freedom, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.


Prayer Team

The Prayer Team provides prayer covering for our staff, services, teams, ministries, and weekly requests from those that attend The River.


RIVER KIDS

Kids are the leaders of today. That’s what we believe around here. And we have the unique opportunity to help encourage them, build them up, listen to their great stories and pray with them. If you love kids and want to help bring up the next generation of the Church, this is the team for you! We love God, love others, do our best, and have fun.

Early Childhood Team

The Early Childhood serves children six weeks through Preschool and offers them the opportunity to hear the life-giving message of Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, and hands-on activities.


Elementary Team

The Elementary Team invests in the lives of children who are in kindergarten through third grade by giving them the opportunity to discover and develop a passion for God through Bible teaching, worship, Small Groups, prayer, and lots of fun.


PreTeen Team

The Preteen Team serves kids who are in fourth and fifth grade by creating a fun environment through Bible teaching, worship, small groups, games, and prayer, preparing these kids to thrive in student ministry.


Kids Check-In Team

The Kids Check-In Team creates a welcoming environment and assists families with checking in, dropping off, and picking up children in all River Kids areas as well as keep our kids areas safe.


Kids Special Needs Team

The Kids Special Needs Team become “buddies” who offer care and personal attention so our kids with special needs can participate in our environments and grow in their relationship with God in their own unique way.


BRIDGE STUDENTS

The number one predictor of a teenager having a faith that lasts beyond high school is the presence of a predictable, caring, non-parental adult. Want to see students know God and become ambassadors for Christ in their schools? Want to be involved in crazy games, powerful small group discussions, or just be a positive influence in the lives of the newest generation of Christ-followers? This is the team for you!

Middle School Mornings Team

The Middle School Mornings Team invests in the lives of students in sixth through eighth grade by creating environments where they connect with God, experience Him, find community, take their next step, and have a whole lot of fun doing it. Leads students in small groups, games, and, if desired, continues the relationship through the week.


High School Nights Team

The High School Nights Team invests in students in ninth through twelfth grade by helping students grow in their relationship with God, find freedom alongside their peers, get opportunities to lead and do ministry, and train them to own their faith so that it might last way beyond high school. Leads students in small groups on Sunday nights and are encouraged to build that relationship through the week and on Sunday mornings.


WORSHIP & PRODUCTION

These are the people who make our worship services happen each week! From camera operators to guitarists, there’s a whole crew of people who work hard to make Sundays great!



Worship Team

Helps facilitate a powerful, on-stage worship experience by utilizing the skills of vocalists and instrumentalists.

Production Team

The Production Team facilitates a powerful, distraction-free worship experience through the use of lighting, camera operation, video technology, and audio engineering.


Photography Team

The Photography Team captures life changing moments in our worship environments, baptisms, kids and student areas, special events, and more.

CREATIVE & COMMUNICATIONS

Are you tech savvy or have a creative background or desire to learn more, then this your opportunity to make a difference.



Creative Team

The Creative Team develops designs and communication to connect guests and attendees to our worship services, find their next step, and get more information.


MISSIONS AND OUTREACH

Many people from the community come through our doors or call the office during the week. Want to connect with them, pray with them or assist with benevolence needs? Want to be involved in our next community outreach? Get involved today.



Outreach Team

The Outreach Team helps meet the practical and spiritual needs of our communities by leading and supporting outreach initiatives and serving projects.


CAMPUS SUPPORT TEAM

Do you love to be in the background but want to help make ministry happen? From handymen who help repair things that break, to those who help care for every area of the building. These dream teamers are very important to maintaining our building and keeping us organized from week to week.



Administration Team

The Administration Team uses the gift of administration to collect and maintain data to ensure information is secure, complete, and accurate so that everyone can take their next steps. They help with as needed office tasks during the week.


Facilities Team

The Facilities Team helps to create an excellent, distraction-free environment by working behind-the-scenes to maintain and support excellence in every area of our church, including baptisms and special events.


LEGACY TEAM

The Legacy Team advances the cause of Christ and accelerates the vision of The River Church through the gift of giving.



Legacy Team

The Legacy Team is called and equipped to help accelerate the vision of The River Church by giving above and beyond the tithe, to further the work of God and to leave a legacy through the gift of giving.
